Welcome to the new website and the new brand for our practice. NB Financial Solutions Ltd is having a face-lift to reflect the way we show off our services and Bevans will be our new trading style going forward. Bevans was chosen because it’s the family name and portrays the personal nature of how we work.
We’ve seen the business grow consistently over recent years and particularly over the last 18 months. Lorna thinks this coincides with her joining the practice and my theory lies elsewhere. In fairness, I think it’s a combination of factors, but Lorna has certainly helped this progression.
It’s made us have another look at what we offer, how we communicate this to clients and how we interact with you in the future. From speaking to our clients, both long standing and new, the theme seems to be that the personal planning approach we offer and the ability to interact with us face-to-face is what most people value. This is music to our ears because it makes the work we do enjoyable for everyone concerned.
One thing we’ve had to consider, is whether to take on more staff to deal with the work load. This would certainly help with future capacity but would take away from the personal relationships we’ve built over the years. I have clients who have seen this with larger firms in the past and is something we want to avoid.
As a result, we’ve looked at productivity and how we communicate our services. Our old website was a good source of information if you wanted to know what a pension was, but it didn’t convey the nature of the services we provide. We think the new website and brand is a more accurate reflection of the business and how we work.
I couldn’t finish without a big thank you to Trident in Hinckley, who have worked with us on this project. It’s been a pleasure working with talented individuals that provide a level of personal attention to detail that isn’t easy to find. Thank you for helping bring this together.

Client Portals – In addition to the new website, we’ve added a new back office system that will save us time when preparing valuations etc. It will also give us the ability to add Client Portals to the website. This will in no way affect the face-to-face service, but it will enhance the security of our electronic communications and how we could provide certain information to you. Watch this space…. There’ll no doubt be another blog.
